Bespoke customer hats
Here are some of the hats made to order for customers and details of each project.
SANDRA'S HATS
After seeing some of my own hats I had made on Instagram, an Instagram acquaintance got in touch wanting to see if I could make her something. She sent me idea's for inspiration and we discussed colour options, trimmings etc and she left it to me after that.

She loved what I came up with and I specifically remember the comment she made after she wore it out the first time "first time I wore it today and felt like a child hopping and skipping... literally changed my mood, so happy thank you"

This comment made my day too.
Materials: Rabbit fur felt, genuine leather wide band, metal belt buckle and satin ribbon
Paint splatters
One of my regular customers and an avid hat wearer had seen a splattered hat online and immediately got in touch.

The details were left to me, brim, crown and trimmings and as we have a good relationship he trusted me to create an epic hat.

This one I really love.
Materials: Rabbit fur felt, satin lining, ivory silk hat band and splattered with createx paints.

The Gift
When you have no idea what to buy that special friend that has loved all the hats I made for other people.. so she got one of her own.

went for a colourful hat with distressed trim, and who doesn't love a bit of boho style. This made use of upcycled denim from old jeans.

Materials: Wool felt, died and distressed denim band and brim edging
One for me
This was my most recent creation for myself. I had an outfit in mind which was full purple, and wanted to top it off with a purple hat.. of course, who wouldn't.

Found an ideal colour from Parkin Fabrics UK and when it arrived it was perfect. Formed a standard tear drop crown, and wanted a wider than usual brim from my usual. I pencil curled the edge, lined it with silk and had more heads turning than usual.

Materials: velour fur felt, ivory silk hatband, long white feather and silk lining.
