When I say hand crafted, I try to make as much by hand as possible
Hand blocked, and shaped
The Rabbit fur felts come as blanks off a cone and need manually forming into your hat on a block of the right size to then be set, shaped and finished.

This is the first step in the process of any project and as an artisan, unlike the mass production factories, this stage takes time patience and lots of steam. It is also one of the most satisfying stages, where you see the hat come to life.
Hand shaping the crown
An artisan hatter (or milliner whichever you prefer) will hand shape each hat with skill and expertise.

This is the way we ensure we make unique and custom hats.

We could buy pre formed mass produced hat bodies but there's no skill, no uniqueness and the materials are mostly cheap wool that you can pick up for £20 on the high street as fast fashion, and lets be honest, they don't last, you have the same as everyone else and you are not here to buy a throw away item, this is a bespoke investment hat that will last years.
